SF: Supporting Local Businesses

Our little neighborhood in San Francisco is lovingly referred to as, the village, and is full of small business owners.  We love our neighborhood and do our best to support the family owned businesses in the ‘hood. One way we do that is to have a Mom + Hen date when the bakery across the street opens at 6:30am, 2 – 3 times a week.  We get the morning treats straight out of the oven and read a book over a cup of coffee.

So many delicious choices.

Tequila Time @ Casablanca

While craving Mexican food in SoCal, a quick Yelp search led us to Casablanca in Venice, CA.

With huge portions and a lot of memorabilia to look at while eating, we had a great lunch.

**It must be noted that Hen LOVED the made-from-scratch tortillas they served. LOVED!

Throwback to Christmas

I found this little .gif in my drafts folder and couldn’t believe I never posted it!  Our friends had us over for a Christmas dinner so we took advantage of the decorated tree and got a family portrait.

If Henry looks tired in the photos…he is! We woke him up to take it – whoops!:)

On a side note, how cute are his little Hannukah pajamas?
